Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

James Fox is a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and burnout recovery specialist who supports individuals and organisations in addressing stress, emotional fatigue, and burnout.

He is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and is committed to providing ethical, evidence-based care through a grounded and collaborative approach.

James holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy from Western Sydney University, along with diplomas in counselling and community services. His professional expertise is shaped by both academic training and personal life experience.

“I’ve sat across from people who’ve lost themselves. Burned out, broken down, barely holding on and I get it because I’ve been there too.”

James offers more than just therapy

He creates a safe and supportive space for clients to reflect, process, and rebuild. Whether you are a high-performing professional seeking support, or a leader looking to protect your team’s wellbeing, James meets you where you are and walks with you toward change.

Burnout is not just about exhaustion

It is often a sign of disconnection from your values, identity, and sense of purpose. Recovery is about more than coping. It is about finding clarity, setting boundaries, and creating a life that feels sustainable and meaningful.
